Child receiving personalised support at Bali Bridging and Development
When school isn’t enough, we’re here to offer individualised support at our Bali centre.

Most children spend the majority of their day at school. It’s where learning happens, friendships grow, and routines take shape. But for some children, school just isn’t enough.

That might be because their learning style doesn’t fit the structure of the classroom. It might be because their challenges aren’t fully understood - or aren’t seen at all.

Whatever the reason, there are times when children need support that goes beyond what a school can provide.

And that’s okay.

Schools do their best - but they have limits

Teachers are often stretched. Class sizes are large. Time is short. And even when teachers genuinely care, they may not have the training, resources, or space to give your child what they need.

Some schools offer learning support teams, or IEPs for children with diagnosed needs. But these processes can take time - and many children fall into the grey area of “struggling, but not flagged.”

It’s not about blaming schools. It’s about recognising when your child might need more than the system can offer.

Why external support can make the difference

Support outside the classroom can focus on areas that may be overlooked in a typical school day:

  • Personalised learning strategies

  • Emotional regulation tools

  • Sensory support

  • Focus and attention techniques

  • Support with transitions or behavioural challenges

It’s also delivered in a one-to-one setting, without the distractions or pressures of the school day.

“Some of the most effective learning happens when children feel safe, seen, and supported as individuals—something that’s not always possible in a busy classroom.”

It’s not just about learning - it’s about confidence

When children receive targeted support, they often begin to feel more capable. That confidence shows up at school, at home, and in how they approach challenges. It can be the shift that changes everything.

How we can help

At Bali Bridging and Development, we work with families whose children need a more personalised approach - whether they’re in school, transitioning between schools, or being homeschooled. We don’t replace school. We fill the gaps.

Our personal custom courses are built around each child, and designed to support them across environments - not just the classroom.

Let’s talk about what’s working, what isn’t, and what kind of support could make a difference.
